Acevion hearing aids are over-the-counter (OTC) devices for adults 18 and older with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss. They are not for children, and they are not a replacement for a medical exam. FDA registration is not an FDA approval or endorsement.
Please have your parent see a doctor or hearing professional first if they have: sudden or rapidly worsening hearing loss, hearing loss in only one ear, ear pain, fluid or drainage from the ear, dizziness, or a lot of visible earwax. Those need a medical check before any hearing aid.
